§ Privacy

Who we are

This site is run by the International Society of Breast Pathology (ISBP). If you have a question about this policy or about your data, write to us here.

What we collect

When you join, we ask for your name, email address, institution, country and membership category, and anything you type in the application notes. When you log in, we set a session cookie so the site knows who you are.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our server. We keep the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and the history of your invoices, so we can show them on your account page. Stripe's own policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

Emails

We send account and billing notices only: the link to set your password, a renewal reminder, a notice when a payment has a problem, and password resets. We do not send marketing mail.

Cookies and third parties

The isbp_session cookie keeps you logged in. The forms on this site are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, and the payment forms load Stripe.js from Stripe.

The Webinars page and the home page embed the society's videos from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's player without tracking cookies before you press play.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while your membership is active, and afterwards for the period that accounting rules require us to keep payment records.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Write to [email protected] and we will answer you.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
