Membership Levels

 

Active Membership:
Annual Fees (Journal Subscription is included): $125

Any pathologist who is certified by the American Board of Pathology, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Anatomic Pathology or an equivalent foreign specialty board and who is actively engaged in the practice of breast pathology and/or an associated subspecialty of surgical pathology and who demonstrates an ongoing commitment to furthering excellence in breast pathology. Active members have the right to vote, hold office, sit on councils, and may serve on committees. Active members should attend at least one annual business meeting every four years. Journal Subscription is included with an Active Membership.

Associate Membership
Annual Fees (Journal Subscription is included): $125

Any physician or other scientist who does not qualify as a regular member but who has demonstrated special interest in the field of breast pathology. Associate members may vote and serve on committees but cannot hold office or sit on councils. Journal Subscription is included with Associate Membership.

Junior Membership
Annual Fees (Journal Subscription is included): $75.00

Any physician in training who has an interest in breast pathology. This membership is limited to two years. Junior members may vote and serve on committees but cannot hold office or sit on councils. Journal Subscription is included with Junior Membership

Honorary Membership
Annual fees are exempt

Persons who have made distinguished or extraordinary contributions to the field of breast pathology. Honorary Members shall have privileges similar to Regular Members, but can not hold office or sit on the council. Honorary Members will be exempted from the annual dues.

Emeritus Membership
A person who was either a Regular or Associate Member of The Society may be elected upon his request as an EMERITUS MEMBER when he/she retires from gainful activities, provided that the past dues have been fully paid.
